PDA operator entry system
This application allows an operator to easily and efficiently maintain data entry information via an automated handheld device while moving freely through the plant environment. A centralized data repository for forms maintenance/creation and data archiving provide for better backup and control.
Multiple hard copy forms are filled out by hand on a daily basis in most plant environments and then brought to a supervisor or management person for review and archiving. Time restrictions cause much of this data to be left out of the automated system which means the data has limited value for current or historical analysis. The OpXpress system allows for the hard copy forms to be entered via a centralized system where multiple users can add/update forms and then the forms can be downloaded to multiple PDA handheld units for the operators to utilize during their shifts to accumulate the information and bring the devices back into the office for upload to the repository for analysis purposes.
This product is powered by Microsoft SQL and .NET programming environment.
